Adolescent Outpatient Services

teens in group therapyNorthPointe Family Center at UBH Denton provides a continuum of psychiatric care for individuals through outpatient programming in a less restrictive environment. We provide outpatient program (PHP/IOP) for pediatrics ages 8-12.

Services include:

  • Behavior modification therapy
  • Stress & Anger management
  • Daily activities to reduce anxiety and/or depression
  • Help with increasing attention, concentration and the completion of schoolwork
  • Identification triggers
  • Relapse prevention plans

  • Needed support to help minimize hospitalizations

To meet each adolescent’s education needs, academic instruction is provided at NorthPointe Family Center through our own private school system. NorthPointe’s state certified teacher has worked directly with over 285 schools to transfer grades, assist with truancy and provide comprehensive case management.

The outpatient programs for adolescents runs for up to eight weeks, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm with lunch provided. The Summer scheduled runs from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. Affordable transportation should never be an issues in getting treatment. Please contact us for more information.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

  • Four Hours of Group Therapy each day
  • Family Therapy
  • Weekly medication management by a physician
  • Individualized treatment plan
  • Comprehensive case management
  • Discharge planning
  • Private school taught by certified teacher
  • Complimentary lunch provided

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Includes:

  • Three Hours of Group Therapy each day
  • Individualized treatment plan
  • Comprehensive case management
  • Discharge planning
  • Private school taught by certified teacher
  • Complimentary lunch provided

At NorthPointe Family Center, adolescents can still attend school while being provided the tools needed for coping with life’s stressors with added support to help minimize hospitalizations.
